Welcome to CodeKids
We are excited and looking forward to code with you. We like to think of coding as applied math and sciences, it teaches us an iterative approach to solving problems and testing out our ideas. Coding isn’t particularly easy to learn but that’s exactly why it’s so valuable. Ex-TechKids practice multiple areas of the IT training. We provide an online learning marketplace, where students can take courses in everything from programming to STEAM course and much. All courses are taught by an expert instructor, and every course is available on-demand so students can learn at their own pace, on their own time, and on any device. "Coding is all around us. It's hard to imagine a single career that doesn't have a need for someone who can code. Programming is not just the province of pale twenty- somethings in skinny jeans, hunched over three monitors, swigging Red Bull. Not anymore! The newest pint-sized coders have just begun elementary school." Ex-TechKids Diverse early-learning benefits kids. "Learning to write programs stretches your mind, and helps you think better, creates a way of thing about things that I think is helpful in all domains." - Bill Gates We Teach Kids to Code...Elementary School (K-5), Middle School (6-8), and High School (9-12). Learning programming empowers kids and gives them tools to express themselves in really cool ways. It is easy as learning a language. Games and apps with visual programming languages teach programming logic and concepts before kids can read.

New technology is common, new thinking is rare.
Topics We Teach
With new content added weekly, you can rely on our expert teachers to train your staff in the latest technologies and keep skills cutting edge: HTML, CSS, Design, JavaScript, Ruby, PHP, WordPress, C#, Databases, iOS, Android, Development Tools, and more.
Becoming Fluent With Technology…
Going from simply interacting with technology to creating and expressing oneself in new ways is why we need more programmers! Over the next 10 years, programming will be one of the fastest growing occupations. There will be 1.4 million programming jobs to fill and 67% of these jobs are outside the tech sector with only 400,000 graduates in computer science. This leaves 1 MILLION empty jobs!
Coding Assumptions…
With CodeKids, we make a few assumptions about you in regard to getting started:
- You have a reasonable comfort level in typing on a computer and using a mouse.
- Your experience can be either on a Windows or Mac system — either one will do.
- You’ve played with a few games on a computer, so you have some idea regarding how people interact with computer games (as opposed to video games on a gaming console).
